CONTACT
Some useful contacts for the Trail.
Logistics:
Alice Lodge Backpackers
Friendly staff. Relatively clean, and it's the right price. Location is great, so this is the main reason I chose it. Quick walk into town. Don't rely on the free breakfasts though, as it consists of stale white bread, a broken toaster and muesli that's just oats. You can get your food drop containers left here so you can fill them the night before you're picked up by Alice Wanderer.

Alice Wanderer
Transfers to and from sections of the track. They also hire keys and containers for food drops locations. It cost me $145 for a single person transfer from Alice to Redbank Gorge. Make sure to confirm your pickup booking with them, as they can get very busy.

Gear:
Lone Dingo
Can buy your fuel at their online store, and just leave them a note at checkout that you'll pick it up before going on Larapinta, with your date of pickup. Since we can't take fuel on flights, I also left my half-used fuel canister with them when I got back, so they can recycle them. If there's anything you've forgotten to pack, these guys will have it.

EPIRB Hire (EPIRB, PLB & Satellite phones)
Very professional, very attentive, will send plenty of information, and are available 24/7. They have good reliable gear. This is very important as it will be your emergency backup item. They also sent the satellite phone out in plenty of time for me to test it before flying out.
